A manufacturing and trading company is seeking a Logistics & Procurement Supervisor to oversee daily procurement and logistics operations, ensuring timely material supply for production, smooth import–export activities, cost control, and compliance with company and regulatory standards. This role reports to the Operations & Administration Manager and supervises procurement and logistics staff.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and/or logistics, with 2–3 years in a supervisory role within manufacturing or trading environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience in purchasing, supplier coordination, inventory control, and import–export operations.
  • Familiarity with customs procedures, logistics documentation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Good negotiation, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Detail-oriented, cost-conscious, and operationally driven mindset.
  • Good command of English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).

  • Coordinate with Warehouse and Production teams to ensure sufficient raw material inventory for uninterrupted production.
  • Monitor and support Sales and Marketing teams to ensure adequate finished goods availability for market demand.
  • Supervise procurement and logistics staff in supplier coordination, purchasing execution, and daily operational tasks.
  • Negotiate with existing suppliers and support sourcing of new suppliers to achieve optimal cost, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Monitor and manage purchasing contracts in line with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Track import and export shipments, coordinate with forwarders and warehouse teams to ensure smooth inbound and outbound processes.
  • Ensure all procurement and logistics activities comply with internal procedures, legal regulations, and customs requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance, price trends, and logistics costs to support budgeting and cost control.
  • Support preparation and tracking of the annual logistics budget.
  • Ensure import–export shipments meet timelines, regulatory requirements, and cost-efficiency targets.
  • Work closely with customs authorities and relevant agencies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintain compliance with quality and safety standards such as ISO, GMP, HACCP, Halal, and other internal standards.
  • Implement company objectives and operational targets within the logistics and procurement function.
  • Monitor team performance, provide guidance, and address operational issues proactively.
  • Anticipate potential supply chain risks, escalate urgent issues promptly, and propose corrective or preventive solutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
