General Manager (P&L, factory)

Adecco's client - a global industrial solutions manufacturer is on the outlook for a highly esteemed General Manager - open for local & expat (P&L owner, manufacturing) to join their team in Vietnam. This incumbent will lead the manufacturing site through post-construction ramp-up, stabilization, and profitability, with full P&L ownership. The General Manager is accountable for safe operations, cost control, quality performance, and building a sustainable organization during the first two years of operation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; MBA is a plus
• 10+ years of manufacturing leadership, including site or plant head experience
• Proven P&L ownership and factory ramp-up experience
• Strong background in industrial manufacturing
• Fluent English and strong stakeholder management skills

• Own site P&L, including budget, forecast, cost control, and EBITDA delivery
• Stabilize and optimize end-to-end manufacturing operations (production, quality, engineering, supply chain, EHS)
• Lead capacity ramp-up, process validation, and productivity improvement
• Build and develop the site leadership team and operating disciplines
• Ensure compliance with quality, EHS, and regulatory standards
• Manage OPEX and CAPEX, inventory, and working capital
• Act as primary interface with regional/global leadership
