Financial Partnership Manager for Consumer Durable Products

JOB SUMMARY

• The Company is seeking a driven and experienced professional to join the team in a key role overseeing both wholesale and retail finance operations. This position will focus on building, managing, and optimizing strategic partnerships with banks and financial institutions that support wholesale funding for our distribution partners as well as retail financing solutions for end customers.
• You will play a critical role in launching and managing new financing programs, ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations, and developing KPIs to monitor and expand the finance business in Vietnam. Success in this role requires strong financial expertise, an understanding of funding models for durable consumer goods, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Wholesale Finance Operations & Support

• Work closely with the internal operations team to ensure the smooth flow of funds that support wholesale transactions within the company’s distribution model.
• Monitor fund availability across relevant business partners and proactively address issues to ensure timely transaction processing.
• Manage and resolve complex funding challenges such as allocation adjustments, product exchanges, or temporary financial capacity constraints among business partners.
• Conduct periodic reviews and audits of wholesale funding activities to ensure compliance, transparency, and operational efficiency.

Retail Finance Program Implementation

• Develop, promote, and implement retail financing programs designed to provide end-customers with convenient and competitive financing solutions.
• Partner with financial institutions to create attractive loan packages, promotional offers, and flexible financing structures suited to customer needs.
• Provide internal teams and channel partners with training, guidance, and tools needed to effectively communicate financing options and support customer financing applications.

Performance Monitoring, Analysis & Reporting

• Design, track, and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) for both wholesale and retail finance activities.
• Prepare periodic reports on wholesale funding status, retail finance performance, market competitiveness (from a financial perspective), and other related financial metrics.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, highlight opportunities, and recommend improvements.
• Conduct regular data cleansing, inventory aging analysis, and auditing of sales-related financial information.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement

• Work collaboratively with relevant internal teams—including Sales, Marketing, and Legal—to ensure consistent alignment on financial programs and initiatives.
• Identify and drive improvements in financial processes to enhance operational efficiency and improve the overall experience for business partners and customers.
• Coordinate internal sales contract matters and support administrative processes as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• 5–8 years of experience in banking or financial institutions, with a focus on relationship management, corporate lending, or retail finance product support.
• Strong understanding of financing models for durable consumer goods, including wholesale funding for distribution partners and retail installment financing for customers.
• Proven experience in Vietnam’s financial market and familiarity with industries involving durable goods.
• Hands-on experience managing or implementing financial partnership programs is a strong advantage.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills in both English and Vietnamese.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to build and sustain strong relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools.
• Proactive, self-driven, and capable of independently managing initiatives with a high level of focus.
• Strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of market dynamics, segmentation, and operational models within durable consumer goods sectors.
• Awareness of industry trends, competitive landscape, and relevant Vietnamese government policies affecting consumer finance.
• Results-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic, able to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Adaptable, resilient, and willing to learn and take on new challenges.
