Business Development Manager / Director - Solar

Solar company - seeking a visionary leader with a strong history of delivering solar projects.

Core Responsibilities

• Define and implement strategies to capture market share in rooftop solar.
• Originate and advance projects from initial engagement through financial close.
• Lead high-stakes negotiations for PPAs, leasing structures, and strategic alliances.
• Monitor market trends and provide executive-level insights on pipeline performance and forecasts.
• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with clients, EPC partners, and regulatory bodies.

Required Expertise

• Proven business development experience in solar or energy infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Established network within the renewable energy ecosystem (financiers, EPCs, utilities, regulators).
• Deep understanding of both domestic and international renewable energy policies, technical familiarity with rooftop solar systems, and PPA structures.
• Fluent in English, with strong communication in Chinese is preferred.
