We are looking for a "Service Manager" for our client in the construction machinery sector, for whom we provide consulting services.
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience in service, maintenance, troubleshooting, or product support in the construction machinery sector
- Strong technical knowledge in maintenance and repair of construction equipment such as excavators, loaders, and trucks
- Solid understanding of hydraulics, diesel engines, electrical/electronic systems, and diagnostic procedures
- Experience in team management or coordinating field service teams is preferred
- Proficient in MS Office, service management software, and diagnostic tools
- Fluency in Turkish; ability to read technical documents in English
- Willingness to travel frequently
- Strong communication, customer-oriented mindset, and advanced problem-solving skills
Job Description
- Plan, manage and continuously improve service operations for dealers and end customers
- Lead and supervise the service team (technicians, field engineers, etc.) and provide necessary training and performance follow-up
- Oversee maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and diagnostic processes for construction machinery (excavators, loaders, dump trucks, etc.) ensuring high service quality and timely delivery
- Conduct regular customer site visits to evaluate operational needs and provide technical support
- Manage customer complaints, warranty processes, and critical breakdown cases
- Collect and analyze machine performance data, failure trends, and customer feedback under local working conditions
- Communicate technical issues, field observations, and improvement suggestions to HQ product and R&D teams
- Organize and deliver service training sessions for operators and technicians
- Support the localization and preparation of technical documents, manuals, and service bulletins
- Manage service resources including tools, service vehicles, and spare parts
- Monitor service KPIs, operational efficiency, and cost-control metrics, and prepare regular reports
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance customer satisfaction and support after-sales activities
