Finance Business Partner to AstraZeneca

About the role

Are you an experienced finance professional who enjoys working close to the business and turning financial insights into actions? We are currently looking for a Finance Business Partner to join AstraZeneca´s Sweden Operations Finance team in Södertälje.

In this role, you will support Regional Quality and Regional Supply Chain, acting as a trusted finance partner to the business. You will work with financial planning, analysis and performance management while helping drive efficiency, improvement initiatives and strategic priorities.

As a Finance Business Partner, your main responsibilities will include:

• Leading financial performance management for Regional Quality in EMEA & Sweden Supply and Regional Supply Chain
• Driving month-end activities, forecasting and planning cycles, including analysis and consolidation
• Presenting financial results and insights to management, as well as identifying opportunities for improvement
• Partnering with the strategy function to support strategic priorities and efficiency targets
• Driving and supporting business cases and investment decisions
• Participating in projects and providing ad hoc financial analysis and support

This is a full-time consulting assignment through Adecco with a planned duration of approximately seven months and a start date as soon as possible.

About you

We are looking for someone with a strong financial background and experience working closely with operational stakeholders in a business partnering role. You are a well-organized and analytical person who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You are comfortable working independently while also collaborating closely with colleagues across different functions. You have a proactive approach, pay attention to detail and communicate clearly with stakeholders at different levels of the organization.

Required qualifications:

• Master´s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
• At least five years of experience working as a Finance Business Partner, Business Controller or in a similar role
• Experience within manufacturing accounting and operations finance
• Strong analytical and financial planning skills
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Experience from the pharmaceutical industry is considered an advantage
