We are looking for a PP/PM System Process Manager to join their growing team, supporting system improvements and ensuring smooth production processes. This person plays a critical role in driving production planning excellence, maintenance effectiveness, and manufacturing operational efficiency across both SAP PP/PM and MES platforms. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep SAP PP/PM and MES knowledge, analytical problem-solver, and collaborative leader with a passion for manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement in production planning and plant maintenance processes. This role requires understanding of complex manufacturing environments, maintenance operations, supply chain interactions, SAP-MES integration challenges, and the ability to balance production efficiency with equipment reliability, quality and delivery requirements.

Responsibilities:
•    PP/PM System Process Optimization: Lead efforts to identify, analyze, and improve SAP PP (Production Planning), SAP PM (Plant Maintenance), and MES PP business processes and related production planning and maintenance applications across the organization. Utilize process mapping, data analysis, and manufacturing performance metrics to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement in MRP, capacity planning, production scheduling, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, equipment reliability, MES production execution, and shop floor execution processes.

•    Continuous Improvement for Production Planning & Plant Maintenance: Establish and champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence for SAP PP, SAP PM, and MES PP system processes within all production planning and plant maintenance applications needed to support manufacturing operations. Implement Lean, Six Sigma, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), or other process improvement methodologies specifically focused on production planning efficiency, maintenance effectiveness, and equipment reliability across both SAP and MES platforms.

•    Production Planning & Plant Maintenance Project Management: Plan, execute, and monitor SAP PP, SAP PM, and MES PP process improvement projects from inception to completion. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables for production planning system implementations, maintenance optimization projects, and MES integrations, and manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively across multiple manufacturing sites.

•    Cross-functional Collaboration with Manufacturing & Maintenance: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, especially manufacturing operations, production control, maintenance teams, supply chain management, and material planning teams, to drive PP/PM process improvements and ensure alignment with production goals, maintenance objectives, and manufacturing priorities.

•    Change Management for Production Planning & Plant Maintenance: Lead change management initiatives to facilitate the adoption of new PP/PM processes, SAP functionalities, and production planning and maintenance methodologies. Engage manufacturing and maintenance stakeholders, communicate effectively with plant personnel, and address resistance to change to drive successful implementation and adoption.

•    Production Planning & Plant Maintenance Performance Monitoring: Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track SAP PP, SAP PM, and MES PP process performance, production planning accuracy, maintenance effectiveness, equipment availability (OEE), inventory optimization, and manufacturing efficiency. Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate progress and outcomes to manufacturing and maintenance leadership, including integration metrics between SAP PP/PM and MES systems.

•    Training and Development for PP/PM Systems: Provide training, coaching, and support to production planners, maintenance technicians, manufacturing coordinators, and plant personnel on SAP PP, SAP PM, and MES PP process improvement methodologies, system functionalities, and production planning and maintenance best practices. Build internal capabilities and empower manufacturing and maintenance teams to drive continuous improvement across all platforms.

Requirements:
•    Master's degree or equivalent level in engineering and engineering trades (Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field preferred)
•    3-5 years experience in SAP PP (Production Planning), SAP PM (Plant Maintenance), and MES environments with proven track record of process improvement in manufacturing operations
•    Strong knowledge of SAP PP modules including: Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Capacity Planning, Production Orders, Shop Floor Control, and Production Planning integration with MM/WM modules
•    Strong knowledge of SAP PM modules including: Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Work Order Management, Equipment Master Data, Maintenance Planning & Scheduling, and PM integration with PP/MM modules
•    Experience with MES PP components including production scheduling, shop floor data collection, work order management, and real-time production tracking
•    Understanding of SAP PP/PM to MES integration points and data flow optimization
•    Familiarity with production planning and maintenance improvement methodologies (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM - Total Productive Maintenance, Theory of Constraints)
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills specific to production planning and plant maintenance challenges
•    Demonstrated project management experience in manufacturing and maintenance environments, including PP/PM system implementations
•    Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills in manufacturing and maintenance environments
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and process mapping software
•    Knowledge of manufacturing execution systems (MES) and their integration with SAP PP/PM and ERP systems
