IT Technician

Our client is a leading global company specializing in industrial drive technologies, known for its innovative solutions and commitment to quality. For the purpose of expanding their team, Adecco is looking for an experienced and motivated candidate for the position of 

Job description:
• Ensuring the stability and smooth operation of IT environments, services and data security within the Company's standards  
• Maintaining the company's IT infrastructure and ensuring stable functionality in the company's IT environment
• Configuration and administration of IT systems and services according to Company standards and orders of the Head of Department, especially from the client and user aspect
• First level of providing assistance and support to associates regarding the use of information technologies, services and software tools
• Providing customer support at the workplace
• Providing the necessary IT infrastructure and It equipment, especially from the aspect of client and user equipment for workplaces, including the planning and ordering of necessary user hardware and software, as well as the verification of orders
• Management and maintenance of the company’s IT equipment (hardware and software licenses), especially from the aspect of client and user equipment for the workplace
• Informing and advising users about the use of IT services
• Establishing IT equipment failures and possibly repairing them
• Managing user rights to resource access 
• Support to the planning and implementation of new IT services and processes, especially from the user aspect
• Taking all necessary measures in order to respect the standards of quality, environmental protection, and work health and safety in their field of work.
• Active participation in development projects for Shopfloor IT systems in an interdisciplinary development team.
• Parameterization and configuration of the IT systems in the production area.
• Ongoing optimization of systems, processes and interfaces.
• Make recommendation to improve operation.

Your profile:
• Minimum two years of work experience as an IT Technician, or similar
• Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows primarily, Linux is a plus), networks and Microsoft tools
• Previous experience in a manufacturing company is considered a plus
• Advanced knowledge of the English language
• Great communication skills and team-oriented
