Technical Procurement Specialist | Braga

Adecco Permanent Recruitment is currently hiring a Technical Procurement Specialist for an international high‑tech company that is establishing a new operation in Braga.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and procure highly technical components, materials, and assemblies across mechanics, electronics, and mechatronic systems.
• Work closely with engineering teams to understand specifications, drawings, and BOMs.
• Build and maintain a structured supplier database, focusing on local and international vendors.
• Evaluate quotations based on technical and commercial criteria.
• Manage purchase orders, delivery deadlines, cost targets, and quality expectations.
• Support industrialisation phases (prototype - pilot - serial production).
• Develop alternative supplier options and support risk‑mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in highly technical procurement or sourcing.
• Engineering background (mechanics, electronics, mechatronics).
• Strong experience working with technical drawings, BOMs, and specifications.
• Preferred experience in aeronautics, automotive, electronics or small appliances.
• Ability to evaluate suppliers technically, negotiate effectively, and manage relationships.
• Structured, proactive, highly detail‑oriented working style.
• Fluent English (Portuguese is a plus).
