Supply Chain & Planning Team Lead | Braga

Adecco Permanent Recruitment is currently hiring a Supply Chain & Planning Team Lead for an international high‑tech company that is establishing a new operation in Braga.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and lead the supply chain and planning functions from the ground up.
• Team management (procurement, planning, logistics/supplier coordination).
• Oversee sourcing, procurement, supplier management, and contract negotiations.
• Establish production, material, and capacity planning processes.
• Implement and optimise MRP, inventory policies, and stock-level management.
• Support industrialisation activities and NPI transitions (prototype - pilot - serial).
• Coordinate closely with engineering, R&D, production, and quality teams.
• Drive supply chain strategy, scalability, KPIs, and best practices.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, planning, or related functions.
• Experience in high‑tech, electronics, mechatronics, robotics, aerospace, or complex industrial systems.
• Proven ability to lead teams and build processes from scratch.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, inventory management, planning flows, and supplier management.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑growing, dynamic environment.
• Fluent English (Portuguese is a plus).
