Lead the testing strategy for a global cloud migration project in the telecom sector.


📍 Location: Remote (Portugal)

📄 Contract: Full-time, direct with a global technology leader


Our client, a global technology leader, is delivering an international digital transformation project for a leading Finnish telecommunications network. This role offers full autonomy to define and execute the testing strategy in a complex cloud environment.


Responsibilities

  • Own the testing strategy for application migration projects end-to-end.
  • Test Automation – Evaluate and develop automated tests in the customer’s Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.
  • Design and implement automated test frameworks and scripts for functional, integration, and regression testing.
  • Plan and coordinate all testing activities, including migration of legacy tests to modern frameworks.
  • Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and ensure best practices in DevOps.
  • Ensure compliance with containerized environments (Kubernetes) and security standards.
  • Report and communicate progress, risks, and results to stakeholders across international teams.

Requirements


  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in test management and application migration projects.
  • Strong programming skills for test automation in cloud environments (GCP preferred).
  • Solid knowledge of DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes.
  • Proven experience in migration of test frameworks and adapting to new architectures.
  • Ability to work independently, making technical decisions and managing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills in English for international collaboration.
