General Ledger Accounting Analyst (M/F)

Adecco is recruiting for a prestigious Shared Service Center located in Maia, for a General Ledger Accounting Analyst (M/F)

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and reconcile Record to Report accounting transactions in the ERP system;
• Perform general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities;
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with IFR and Portuguese GAAP;
• Support internal and external audits, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities;
• Ensure compliance with Portuguese tax and accounting regulations
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate allocation of expenses and revenues;
• Ensure and supervise the accounts reconciliation;
• Contribute, in liaison with the Tax Department, to the timely preparation of tax returns;
• Contribute to the Group's convergence projects (mergers, new accounting systems, etc.).

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; holding the Contabilista Certificado title is a plus;
• The candidate has a minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting in a multinational environment or in an audit and/or accounting firm, preferably in the industrial field;
• Up-to-date knowledge of Portuguese tax legislation;
• Proficiency in accounting tools and ERP systems (preferably SAP);
• Good command of English (spoken and written);
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities;
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines;
• Proactive and continuous improvement mindset.
