Adecco is recruiting a Credit Management Supervisor for a prestigious Shared Service Center located in Maia.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day‑to‑day Credit Management operations, ensuring effective assessment of customer creditworthiness and accurate management of credit limits in line with company policies.
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and portfolio risk, ensuring proactive actions to minimize potential default exposure.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex credit cases, litigation portfolios, disputes, and high‑risk customers, supporting Analysts and Referents in the resolution process.
  • Manage all factoring activities, including negotiations with financial institutions and oversight of factoring utilization, compliance, and reporting.
  • Track and report Credit Management KPIs, analyzing trends, risks, and opportunities for process optimization and risk mitigation.
  • Prepare regular management reports and provide insights to senior leadership regarding credit exposure, overdue performance, and portfolio risk.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOX requirements, company policies, and regulatory standards, liaising with internal and external auditors when necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Accounts Receivable, Treasury, General Accounting, Bank Accounting, Sales) to ensure alignment on financial flows and customer risk management.
  • Oversee credit‑related month‑end and year‑end closing activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
  • Lead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency, strengthening internal controls, enhancing system usage, and improving process quality.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Credit Management team, ensuring service levels, objectives, and deadlines are consistently met.
  • Manage, coach, and develop team members through performance management, continuous feedback, training, and career development, while addressing people management aspects such as workload allocation, absenteeism, engagement, and conflict resolution.
  • Promote a team culture focused on accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous learning.


Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
  • Equivalent secondary education combined with solid experience in Credit Management, Accounts Receivable, Cash, Treasury, or Finance may also be considered.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Credit Management, Accounts Receivable, Cash, Treasury, Finance Operations, or other Finance‑related functions, preferably in multinational or Shared Services Center environments.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities, with a proactive and hands‑on mindset.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with demonstrated experience in coaching and developing teams.
  • Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages (French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese) is a plus, depending on market coverage.
