Client Description:

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our client in the technology industry as part of the dynamic Quality Assurance team.

This is a junior-level role suited for candidates with 6 months to 2 years of experience in software testing. The position is fully office-based, providing hands-on training and opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate is proactive, eager to learn, and has a general understanding of software testing methodologies.

Candidate Profile:

  • 6 months to 2 years of experience in software testing.
  • Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Familiarity with SQL and command-line interfaces.
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail) and project tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Good documentation and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Bash scripting.
  • Familiarity with AWS services, particularly Athena.
  • Previous experience with hardware testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute test cases for device features and components.
  • Assist in analyzing product requirements and creating test specifications.
  • Perform manual and automated testing using physical devices.
  • Document test results, report defects, and track quality metrics.
  • Identify potential risks and technical challenges.
  • Follow test plans and best practices with guidance from senior team members.
