Client Description:

For our client -European Border and Coast Guard Agency we are looking for:

Administrative Assistant in Human Resources and Corporate Services Division/Human Resources Unit/Personnel Administration Sector/Expatriate Services

Candidate Profile:

  • At least 1-year experience in a similar position,
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Fluent English min.B2 - work completely in English

Responsibilities:

  • Providing legal support regarding EU and Polish law.
  • Proofreading of apartment rental contracts and advise on the rights and obligations of contractual parties in case of disputes.
  • Providing information on tax issues (tax residency, PCC tax, tax overpayment, VAT and excise tax refund).
  • Assistance in obtaining documents from Polish courts (criminal record certificate from the National Criminal Register, certificate from the Sexual Offences Register).
  • Verification of legislation pertaining to general and individual cases of expat staff (real estate purchase/sales, real estate taxes, visas for third country spouses, residence status, consumer disputes, employment of staff’s spouses, police related cases: fines, scams, thefts, burglaries etc.), its interpretation, and advice.
  • Contact with public administration for improved understanding of current legislative procedures and practice.
  • Supporting team members in their daily work as far as legal aspects of the duties are concerned.
  • Review of legislative changes that may affect livelihood of expat staff.
  • Finding legal solutions to issues at hand.
  • Drafting notes, letters, and reports.
  • Providing support in general administrative procedures, including visits to public administration offices.
