As a Market Insights Specialist, you will play a key role in connecting European renewable energy markets with our global (China-based) R&D, product, and strategy teams. Acting as the “eyes and ears” of our European operations, you will translate complex market, policy, and competitive developments into clear insights that support decision-making across Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

This role is ideal for a Mandarin–English bilingual professional with a strong interest in Europe’s energy transition and the ambition to work in a truly international environment.

• European market intelligence: Track and forecast utility-scale and C&I developments for PV and BESS in major European markets, including Germany, the UK, Spain, and Italy.
• Policy & regulatory analysis: Interpret EU-level initiatives (e.g., REPowerEU, Net Zero Industry Act) and national frameworks such as subsidies, capacity markets, and grid access rules, and communicate their impact clearly to global stakeholders.
• Competitive & industry analysis: Monitor European and international competitors, including product roadmaps, pricing strategies, and partnership ecosystems.
• BESS business models & revenue stacking: Analyse commercial use cases such as energy arbitrage, ancillary services (frequency regulation), and co-located PV + BESS systems.
• Bilingual strategic reporting: Deliver concise, executive-ready insights and presentations in English and Mandarin, supporting alignment between European operations and headquarters.
• Sales & stakeholder support: Provide localized market insights to support European sales teams and help tailor value propositions for different regions.

• Monthly salary of €3,500 – €4,500, depending on experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Energy Economics, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in the renewable energy industry; BESS-related exposure is a strong advantage.
• Understanding of European power markets and grid integration, basic technical knowledge of Solar PV and lithium-ion battery systems and strong analytical and presentation skills
• Fluent Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written) and European language skills (German, French, or Spanish) are a plus
• Independent, proactive, and comfortable working across cultures, time zones, and fast-changing market conditions.
