Logistics Coordinator

For a modern and growing European distribution center in Born, we are looking for a Logistics Coordinator. In this role, you combine hands-on logistics work with coordination, alignment and continuous improvement.

As a Logistics Coordinator, you are a visible and practical presence on the warehouse floor. You actively participate in daily logistics operations while keeping an eye on progress, quality and workflow. You identify bottlenecks, support colleagues where needed and align closely with supervisors.

You work across multiple departments within the distribution center. This gives you a clear understanding of the full logistics process and allows you to act quickly when changes or challenges arise.

Your responsibilities include:

• Coordinating daily logistics activities on the floor
• Receiving, checking and storing goods
• Monitoring inbound and outbound shipments
• Identifying and reporting process deviations
• Processing orders and monitoring workflow progress
• Managing and checking inventory levels
• Contributing to process improvements and LEAN working
• Acting as a point of contact for warehouse colleagues
• Being flexible across different logistics departments

The distribution center is continuously developing. Processes, systems and inventory management are being further optimized. Your overview and initiative play an important role in these improvements.

You will work either in day shift or in a two-shift system. The working hours are:

• Day shift: 07:00 – 15:30
• Two-shift system: 07:00 – 15:30 and 15:30 – 24:00

You will be employed directly by the client and have room to grow within the organization.

• Monthly gross salary between €2,700 and €3,100, depending on experience
• 27 vacation days and 8% holiday allowance

You will work in an international European distribution center located in Born. From this site, products are shipped daily to customers all over the world.

Education is less important than experience and attitude.

• Experience in a distribution center or logistics environment
• Mbo-level working and thinking skills through education or experience
• A stable work history
• Good command of the English language (Dutch is a plus)
• You keep an overview and take initiative
• You are open to change and development
