Lab Technician

Then this position with our client in Oegstgeest, near Leiden, is perfect for you. We are looking for a Lab Technician for 32 to 40 hours per week.

In this role, you work with good guidance and carry out different laboratory tasks. Your work includes:

• Performing measurements and analyses according to fixed procedures;
• Carrying out routine quantitative and qualitative tests;
• Writing and updating protocols and documentation in the LIMS system;
• Performing routine checks and safety inspections;
• Calibrating and maintaining laboratory instruments;
• Preparing samples for different analysis techniques (such as XRF, XRD and IR);
• Assisting with membrane autopsies and related research.

Working days and hours are from Monday till Friday during office hours.

• A salary from €2.800 to €3.000 gross per month based on 40 hours;
• A varied role in a professional laboratory for 32 to 40 hours per week;
• 25 holiday days and 8% holiday allowance;
• A job for at least 6 months, with a chance of extension;

• You have an MBO-level education in laboratory technology (MLO) or a similar diploma;
• Preferably, you have up to two years of experience in a laboratory environment;
• Courses or training in a scientific or technical field also count.
