Assembly Worker

As an Assembly Worker for excavators at Hitachi in Amsterdam, you will be involved in assembling, testing, and improving components for modern excavators. You will work full-time in day shifts and start with a 40-hour per week temporary contract. With good performance, there is the prospect of a permanent position at Hitachi.

Your responsibilities:

• Assembling components according to clear work instructions
• Performing quality checks and minor technical adjustments
• Inspecting, testing, and improving the assembly process
• Identifying malfunctions and contributing to solutions
• Working with modern tools and safe working methods
• Collaborating with colleagues in production and technical departments
• Actively contributing to a clean and safe workplace

• Gross hourly wage between €17.00 and €19.94
• 27 vacation days and 8% holiday allowance
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer

• Proven experience in assembly or technical/mechanical work
• Strong technical insight and mechanical aptitude
• You speak Dutch or English
• You work accurately, safely, and independently
• A team player with a practical and solution-oriented mindset
