We are looking for an technical assembler for a company in Zaventem.
Your tasks:
-You assemble electronic instruments and sub-assemblies according to specifications, drawings, and detailed work instructions.
-You perform micro-soldering and rework under magnification.
-You diagnose and repair printed circuit board/component issues with strict electrostatic discharge control.
-You apply thermal grease, silicone and adhesives with precision and verify torque settings per validated processes.
-You program and configure modules.
-You execute in-process electronic quality checks and document results for traceability.
-You identify and immediately escalate non-conformities.
-You collaborate with process/engineering teams on troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
-You document assembly activities, complete checklists and travelers, and contribute to updates of work instructions.
-You maintain order and cleanliness at the workstation.
-You have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in electronics or a related field
-Experience in precision assembly is a strong asset
-You have very good knowledge of English and good knowledge of French or Dutch
-You like repetive work and have excellent manual dexterity
-You are organised, meticulous and able to follow instructions precisely.
-You are a fast learner, curious and willing to invest in a long-term industrial project
