Role Summary
The Technical Specialist plays a key role in supporting the commercial team by delivering strong technical expertise, engaging product demonstrations, and tailored customer consultations. This role partners closely with clients and internal teams to understand customer challenges and recommend solutions that meet their technical and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Support
- Partner with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose suitable technical solutions.
- Deliver high-quality product demonstrations, technical presentations, and consultative support throughout the sales cycle.
- Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting to ensure smooth customer experience.
Operational & Administrative Support
- Create timely and accurate quotations in SFDC.
- Follow up on purchase orders and manage SIF creation in CMS/CSS systems.
Technical Expertise & Collaboration
- Maintain deep, up-to-date knowledge of product portfolios, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
- Work closely with product teams to fully understand product capabilities, limitations, and updates.
- Train and support sales colleagues to enhance overall technical competency within the team.
Market Engagement
- Represent the organization at trade shows, conferences, seminars, and other industry events as required.
An Ideal Candidate:
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology).
- At least 2 years of experience in an academic research environment; experience with NGS technologies is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of NGS technology and the broader life sciences market.
- Ability to simplify complex scientific concepts for diverse audiences.
- Full professional proficiency in Korean (written and spoken) to effectively support local clients.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment.
