Role Summary

Our client is seeking a Service Center Technical Service Specialist in which this role involves working within a service center environment, focusing on technical support and maintenance of sleep and respiratory products. The position is a one-year contract with the possibility of extension, depending on business needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient service delivery and maintaining high standards of product care. This role requires a proactive individual with technical expertise in electronics or biomedical engineering, capable of working autonomously and within a team to achieve service goals.

Key Competencies:

Key Responsibilities:

·       Respond to customer inquiries efficiently and professionally.

·       Clean and disinfect Sleep and Respiratory products.

·       Repair and support Sleep and Respiratory products, including diagnosing and replacing modules to rectify faults.

·       Maintain non-brand rental asset products such as oxygen concentrators and cough machines.

·       Generate service quotes and invoice service charges.

·       Record service activities in the service management system, ERP system, and service documentation.

·       Maintain calibration of reference test equipment.

·       Manage the work environment of the service center.

·       Provide IT solution support for the company's products.

·       Deliver service training to internal and external customers.

·       Ensure department work procedures are updated and accurate to reflect current processes.

·       Maintain Service Centre inventory, ensuring daily consumables are available for smooth operations; coordinate cycle counting and annual stock take.

·       Handle spare parts invoicing and shipment in a timely manner.

·       Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction while adhering to quality standards.

·       Perform other administrative and clerical duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Skills & Competencies:

·       Ability to work within a small team environment to achieve daily tasks and team goals.

·       Strong prioritization skills for service and repair activities across customers and product platforms.

·       Proficiency in related software and capability to support multiple product platforms.

·       Skilled in using test equipment to diagnose faults at component/module level.

·       Ability to acquire and share technical knowledge effectively.

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels.

·       Excellent time management to ensure timely and accurate task completion.

·       Ability to provide phone support for technical product-related queries when required.

·       Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.

·       Ability to work autonomously without supervision.

·       Strong problem-solving skills for handling difficult customers and situations.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

·       Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Electronics or Biomedical Engineering) or tertiary education in a technical/engineering stream.

·       Minimum 1 year of technical experience in diagnosis, repair, and handling electronics; experience with medical devices preferred.

·       This is a one-year contract, subject to extension or conversion based on business needs.
