Job Summary

Responsible for end-to-end new product design and development activities for automotive E-mobility applications. The role covers customer requirement analysis, product design, design verification, and support through serial production, contributing to quotation, quality, cost optimization, and Extraordinary Customer Experience (ECE).

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and review customer requests for new product development
• Analyze customer requirements and technical specifications
• Benchmark competitor products and technologies
• Perform product design using 2D/3D CAD tools and lead design reviews
• Understand and manage development schedules based on customer master plans
• Support new business opportunities by preparing technical inputs for quotations and proposals
• Conduct design verification and ensure product readiness for production
• Drive cost reduction activities during serial production
• Support sustaining projects, including quality issues, design changes, and customer requests

Qualifications

• Proficiency in 2D/3D design tools (CREO, CATIA, AutoCAD, etc.)
• Solid knowledge of mechanical design fundamentals
• Basic understanding of electronics and electrical architecture
• Fundamental knowledge of validation and testing
• English communication skills (spoken)
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge or experience in TS16949 / APQP
• Experience applying GD&T
• Automotive project development experience
• Customer engineering support experience

An Ideal Candidate:

Experience

• Up to 7 years of experience in new product design and development
• Experience with automotive components (HV connectors or related automotive parts preferred)
• Hands-on experience in automotive project development

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering
