Role Summary
Our client, a leading global medical device company, is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to drive strategic market growth in South Korea. This role will lead marketing strategy, new product launches, clinical engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen the brand’s competitive position. The ideal candidate brings deep medical device experience, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to work effectively with global teams, distributors, and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
· Strategic Marketing & Market Growth
Ø Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to grow market share and achieve annual business targets.
Ø Lead new product launch strategies, including quarterly, annual, and 5-year forecasting and specialty planning.
Ø Strengthen the company’s competitive positioning through integrated solutions and enhanced product strategies.
Ø Manage the annual marketing budget and deliver ROI-focused initiatives.
· Product Launch & Marketing Communication
Ø Localize global marketing messages and deploy them through digital channels, brochures, and marketing communications.
Ø Work closely with HQ and global subsidiaries to adapt and execute marketing assets, brochures, and advertisements.
Ø Ensure timely launch of new product portfolios through coordinated global communication.
· Market Insights & Customer Engagement
Ø Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Ø Conduct regular visits to key customers to understand clinical and business requirements.
Ø Define product positioning and develop compelling key messages aligned with global brand direction.
· Clinical & Distributor Support
Ø Deliver product training, presentations, and workshops for distributors and users.
Ø Support distributors and customers in technical product selection and clinical application discussions.
Ø Lead professional discussions on surgical applications and provide consultative support to clinicians.
· Events, Workshops & Collaboration
Ø Lead the planning and execution of workshops, congresses, and exhibitions.
Ø Drive strong alignment with the Sales and Technical Service Teams to ensure effective market access and customer support.
Ø Travel domestically for customer support, clinical education, and events; travel internationally for product training and global congress participation.
An Ideal Candidate:
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Science, Marketing, Clinical discipline, or related field.
· Minimum 8 years of experience in the medical device industry (experience in surgery or gastrointestinal endoscopy is required).
· Strong innovative mindset with results orientation and proactive initiative.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
· Ability to understand customer challenges and deliver appropriate solutions.
· Strong communication and presentation skills.
· High proficiency in English (spoken & written).
