Role Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Manager, Marketing & Product Management to lead strategic initiatives for portfolio growth within the biopharmaceuticals and chemical industry in Korea. This role focuses on driving market share expansion, developing go-to-market strategies, and strengthening supplier relationships to achieve revenue and profitability goals.

Key Competencies:

Key Responsibilities:

·       Develop and implement strategic marketing plans for assigned portfolios to achieve growth targets through market share gain, new supplier acquisition, and product expansion.

·       Leverage regional portfolio strategies to identify gaps and market trends, creating effective GTM strategies.

·       Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers through regular engagement and business reviews.

·       Conduct competitive benchmarking, market research, and Voice of Customer analysis to guide marketing strategies.

·       Set pricing for assigned product groups to ensure competitiveness and profitability.

·       Negotiate distribution, quality, and confidentiality contract terms to secure favorable pricing and support.

·       Plan and execute new product introduction (NPI) processes, including onboarding, pricing alignment, sales training, and marketing tools.

·       Engage customers through marketing events and joint sales visits to generate leads and enhance brand awareness.

·       Develop Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to position the organization as a trusted partner in advancing science.

·       Create marketing content and campaigns for both digital and non-digital platforms.

·       Perform other duties as assigned.

An Ideal Candidate:

Key Requirements:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Science, Chemistry, or related field.

·       Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in the chemicals industry.

·       Proven ability to create and implement business plans and strategies.

·       Strong communication skills for engaging leadership, suppliers, and stakeholders.

·       Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, applications, operations, technical service, and regulatory teams.

·       Strong business acumen and negotiation skills.

·       Scientific knowledge to assess product technology and innovation for customer applications.

·       In-depth understanding of life science lab workflows; hands-on lab experience preferred.
