✨ Position Overview

The Sales Manager, Korea is a key leadership role responsible for driving top-line growth and margin expansion. This individual will lead a team of 5 sales and support staff, overseeing national sales operations with direct responsibility for major accounts and new business development. The role requires a strategic, hands-on leader with strong experience in sales transformation, customer engagement, and team development.

 

 

Key Competencies:

- Own full P&L responsibility for Korea sales operations (approx. USD 10M revenue, target USD 15M for 2025).

- Drive YoY revenue growth through strategic sales planning and aggressive customer acquisition.

- Develop and execute sales strategies, pricing models, and funnel management using CRM tools.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key industrial customers (materials, cutting tools, machinery).

- Collaborate cross-functionally across APAC regions and report to Regional GM.

- Serve as the legal entity President, representing the Korea operation at regional/global level.

- Frequent domestic travel (~60%) to visit customers nationwide (Incheon, Daejeon, Daegu, Ulsan, Busan).

An Ideal Candidate:

- Proven track record in business transformation and sales turnaround.

- 10+ years in sales leadership roles, preferably within MNCs in materials science, machinery, or chemical industries.

- Strong leadership, executional excellence, and ability to grow and mentor a sales team.

- Experience managing key accounts and complex B2B industrial sales cycles.

- Hands-on field sales mindset, comfortable with independent travel and self-driven customer engagement.

 

Korean and English fluency required.
