✨ Position Overview
The role of the Sales Engineer is to achieve the strategic goals with focus on top-line growth and operating margin expansion for the Korea business. The role is expected to utilize autonomy to develop new opportunities, service the existing customer base and expand the business & product portfolio thereby resulting in profitable revenue growth.
Key Competencies:
- Develop and execute individual sales plans to achieve sales and margin targets.
- Promote and sell Hyperion products; provide technical consulting on tooling/product selection.
- Maintain and grow existing accounts while actively prospecting new customers and applications.
- Build and manage a strong sales funnel, using CRM and regular activity reporting.
- Monitor customer needs, market trends, and competitors; support strategic marketing initiatives.
- Travel frequently (around 70%) for customer visits within Korea.
An Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; engineering (Mechanical/Materials) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of technical sales or relevant industry experience.
- Proven track record in sales growth, customer development, and value-based selling.
- Strong business acumen, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Native Korean and strong English skills; PC literacy and valid driver’s license.
- Experience in process manufacturing or toolmaking industries and in MNCs is an advantage.
