Role Summary
Our client is a global healthcare organization committed to advancing science and improving patient outcomes. This role is responsible for leading the marketing function in Korea, managing a local team and overseeing cross‑functional marketing capabilities including HCP marketing, digital marketing, consumer engagement, and marketing analytics. The position plays a key role in driving sustainable growth across both reimbursed and non‑reimbursed pharmaceutical products.
Key Competencies:
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the overall marketing strategy for the Korean market, including brand positioning, messaging, and activation for healthcare professionals and consumers
- Drive end‑to‑end marketing planning and execution across HCP, digital, and consumer channels
- Develop strategic brand plans supported by market research, customer insights, and advanced analytics
- Create clinical and consumer communication strategies across the patient journey, with a strong focus on acquisition, engagement, and retention
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, and Finance teams to enhance the customer value proposition
- Lead the development of marketing materials and insights for annual planning, business reviews, and long‑range forecasting
- Successfully plan and execute new product launches in Korea with differentiated, segment‑specific strategies
- Establish and manage KPI dashboards to evaluate campaign effectiveness and business impact using data‑driven insights
- Ensure marketing activities align with corporate vision, divisional objectives, and local market strategies
- Lead, motivate, and develop the marketing team, supporting capability building, performance, and career growth
An Ideal Candidate:
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, or Engineering required
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred
- Minimum 12 years of professional experience, preferably within pharmaceutical or medical device industries
- Prior experience in commercial roles; sales experience strongly preferred
- At least 5 years of healthcare marketing experience with solid understanding of Korean pharmaceutical and/or medical device regulations
