Adecco is currently hiring a Senior Structural Detailer for a permanent full-time opportunity in Delhi, ON. This role is ideal for an experienced structural steel detailing professional who enjoys working on complex projects and collaborating with engineering, fabrication, and project management teams. If you have strong expertise with Autodesk Advance Steel and AutoCAD and are passionate about delivering accurate, high-quality structural steel drawings, this could be an excellent next step in your career.

In this position, you will be responsible for developing detailed structural steel models, producing fabrication and erection drawings, generating material reports, and supporting project execution from design through fabrication.

  • Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year

  • Location: Delhi, ON

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, Full-Time

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed 3D structural steel models using Autodesk Advance Steel.

  • Produce fabrication/shop drawings, erection drawings, general arrangement drawings, and material take-offs.

  • Generate bills of materials (BOMs), fabrication reports, and CNC/NC data files as required.

  • Review structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.

  • Coordinate with engineers, project managers, fabrication teams, and site personnel to resolve detailing and constructability issues.

  • Perform quality control reviews of models and drawings prior to release.

  • Maintain drawing revisions and ensure proper document control procedures are followed.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the detailing and engineering team.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior detailers as required.

  • Ensure all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support project timelines and deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Structural Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 5–7 years of structural steel detailing experience.

  • Proficiency with Autodesk Advance Steel and AutoCAD.

  • Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication, erection practices, and detailing standards.

  • Ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings and specifications.

  • Experience producing shop drawings, material take-offs, and bills of materials.

  • Knowledge of AISC/CISC standards, CSA S16, and AWS welding symbols.

  • Experience with Navisworks or Revit is considered an asset.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to quality.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.

  • Must be able to reliably commute to or relocate to Delhi, ON.
