SAP Technician
Adecco is currently hiring a full-time SAP Technician to join our client’s dynamic team in Lloydminster, SK for a contract position. This team is responsible for ensuring the accurate digital representation of our client’s facility, well, and equipment data within the Maintenance Management System (SAP), supporting the Canadian Thermal and Conventional Heavy Oil business.
Ideally, you are technically minded with experience in data management, governance, and administration within Maintenance Management Systems such as SAP, Maximo, JD Edwards, or similar platforms. If this describes you, apply today!

Shift: Monday to Friday 40 hours a week. Any OT would require preapproval by Lead.

Responsibilities:
This position involves investigating and collaborating with internal and external teams to verify data and documents before accurately entering the data into SAP in accordance with company standards.
This position involves a diversity of challenges requiring the identification of issues, investigation, collaboration, and selection of an appropriate solution.
This position mainly follows defined processes to complete work.
Attention to detail and ability to accurately assess information to make decisions is key to this role.
This role is primarily in an office environment and does not include field work.
This position is best suited for a team player that can work with multiple stakeholders to achieve success.
Partners include operations, maintenance, engineering, finance, supply chain and service teams.
Receive and review asset data change requests from business stakeholders.
Create SAP work tickets and assign to the appropriate SAP Technician for completion.
Process work tickets to create/update SAP Function Location, Equipment and Assembly master data.
Complete work tickets assigned to you according to the priority and timelines outlined.
Verify asset data accuracy through investigation, document review, conversations, audits, etc. and correct discrepancies prior to loading into SAP.
Documents include technical drawings, calibration reports, assessment reports, inspection reports, service reports, audits, etc.
Coach and mentor team members in an effective manner to ensure knowledge is transferred and skills are shared throughout the team.
Create and maintain work instructions specific to this position.
Qualifications:
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
High School Diploma
2 years’ experience with Microsoft Office;
Excel to analyze data using sorting, filtering, data transformation, pivot tables, and
graphs. The ability to learn and apply formulas to large data sets.Outlook to send and receive emails, and calendar to schedule meetings and manage
time.Word to create professional documents such as work instructions and procedures.
Business / Technical Diploma or equivalent training is an asset.
Experience with SAP PM, HR, FI, MM, BW is an asset
Oil and gas equipment knowledge is an asset
Attention to detail - able to find errors and anomalies in large data sets
Critical thinking - able to investigate and determine a course of action based on the information available
Willingness to learn new tasks and increase technical knowledge
Effective communication skills with field and office personnel
Able to adapt to changing priorities to meet deadlines
Able to organize and manage multiple work streams
