Adecco is currently hiring a Production Associate (Stitcher Operator) for a full-time opportunity in Stittsville, ON. This role is ideal for detail-oriented and safety-focused individuals with experience in manufacturing or production environments.

As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for operating stitching and bundling equipment, assembling corrugated products, and supporting overall production and quality processes. You will play a key role in maintaining efficiency, product quality, and a safe working environment.

  • Salary: $21.59/hour

  • Location: Stittsville, ON

  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

  • Contract: Temp-to-perm potential

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate the stitcher machine (used to staple corrugated cardboard components)

  • Feed corrugated sheets into equipment for processing

  • Glue and staple boxes according to specifications

  • Create and apply Amtech tags to finished loads

  • Set up and operate bundling equipment

  • Prepare cover sheets for production orders

  • Strip scrap material from boxes and manage waste

  • Bale scrap materials and maintain housekeeping standards

  • Palletize and unitize finished products

  • Operate forklift and scissor lift (if certified)

  • Count inventory and assist with stock control

  • Complete quality reports and ensure product standards are met

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications

  • Basic computer skills

  • Ability to use measurement tools (tape measure) in both Imperial and Metric systems and convert between them

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving consistent use of upper arms and shoulders

  • Previous experience with Amtech system is an asset

  • Strong attention to detail and quality

  • Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices

  • Previous manufacturing or production experience is an asset

  • Positive attitude and strong team-oriented mindset

  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
