Material Handler

Adecco is currently hiring a Material Handler for a full-time, on-site opportunity with one of our clients located in Slemon Park, P.E.I.

In this role, you will report directly to the Materials Supervisor and play a key part in supporting production efficiency by ensuring materials are properly received, stored, and prepared for distribution. This position requires valid Controlled Goods (CGP) clearance and only candidates who meet this requirement will be considered.

• Salary: $20 per hour

• Location: Slemon Park, P.E.I. (On-site)

• Job Type: Full-time | Temporary

• Schedule: Monday to Friday

• Valid Controlled Goods (CGP) Clearance is required and is non-negotiable

• Candidates without CGP clearance will not be considered

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products

• Prepare and package materials for shipment to ensure safe transport

• Maintain accurate inventory records

• Assist with inventory counts and material tracking

• Support overall warehouse organization and efficiency

Qualifications:

• Valid Controlled Goods (CGP) Clearance required (mandatory)

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada

• Ability to lift 10–15 lbs or less

• Experience in material handling or warehouse operations is an asset

• Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures

• Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment is an asset

• Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and best practices

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
