Adecco is currently hiring a full-time skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Mechanics/Millwrights to join our client’s team in the Lower Mainland, British Columbia. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment. Your expertise will help ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime across our operations.

  • Pay Rate: $40 - $50 per hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance on machinery, mechanical systems, and equipment to minimize unexpected failures.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and develop solutions to ensure equipment reliability.

  • Install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and drawings.

  • Assemble, adjust, and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential problems and recommend improvements.

  • Collaborate with other team members to optimize equipment performance and production efficiency.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and inspections.

  • Adhere to workplace safety standards and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

  • Journeyman Millwright certification (Red Seal preferred).

  • Proven experience in maintaining and repairing industrial equipment, machinery, and systems.

  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.

  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns as needed.
