CNC Machinist – Horizontal Boring Mills

Working out of the Niagara Falls area, this full-time, permanent CNC Machinist position will report to the Production Manager.  This Machinist position will be responsible for operating Horizontal Boring Mills with Heidenhain Controls.  This position will also complete inspections and dimensional reports, perform preventative maintenance on equipment, and also supervise and direct apprentices, as well. REQUIREMENTS – CNC Machinist – Horizontal Boring Mills 

• Horizontal Boring Mills - strong experience with this required

• Heidenhain Controls experience required

• 5+ years’ experience as a machinist required

• Relevant post-secondary training, COQ 429A is preferred, but not necessary

• Valid Driver’s License is preferred.

 RESPONSIBILITIES – CNC Machinist – Horizontal Boring Mills 

• Operating conventional and CNC machines, specifically Horizontal Boring Mills

• Using Heidenhain Controls

• Programming with assistance of Programming & Tooling Manager.

• Completing inspections and dimensional reports.

• Performing preventative maintenance on equipment.

• Supervising and directing apprentices.

• Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
