Airport Advertising Business Manager

Full-Time, Permanent | Hybrid | Vancouver, BC
Salary Range: $85,000–$95,000 plus a robust benefit program

 

About the Role

A leading national media and advertising organization is seeking an Airport Advertising Business Manager to oversee and optimize its advertising program with their client. This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of airport advertising operations, maintaining strong partnerships with airport stakeholders, and supporting revenue growth through operational excellence and collaboration with sales and marketing teams. This is a hybrid position requiring regular on-site presence at the airport and periodic work from a regional office.

 

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Program Management

  • Manage daily operations of a large-scale airport advertising portfolio, including static, digital, and experiential formats.

  • Act as the primary liaison with airport authority partners and internal operational teams to ensure smooth execution and issue resolution.

  • Coordinate with technology, project management, and infrastructure teams on the rollout and maintenance of digital signage networks.

  • Ensure timely response to posting issues, maintenance needs, and asset performance concerns.

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  • Serve as a central point of contact for internal sales teams, leadership, and external stakeholders regarding airport advertising programs.

  • Conduct site tours and presentations for clients and internal partners, highlighting advertising opportunities and capabilities.

  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to translate new opportunities into compelling proposals and materials.

Financial Oversight & Compliance

  • Monitor revenue and expenses related to the airport advertising program to ensure profitability and alignment with forecasts.

  • Prepare and deliver regular reports to senior leadership and finance partners as required.

  • Ensure compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and operational obligations established with airport authorities.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.

  • Demonstrated experience in business or operations management, partnerships, or account leadership; experience in out-of-home media, transportation hubs, or complex stakeholder environments is an asset.

  • Experience with Concession Management a strong asset.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and collaborative approach.

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, technology, and finance teams.

  • Proficiency with standard business software and tools for both in-person and virtual collaboration.

Additional Requirements

  • Based in the Vancouver area and able to work on-site at the airport multiple days per week.

  • Valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle for travel between locations as required.
