Adecco client is a European-based manufacturer specializing in building materials, providing products and solutions for both residential and industrial projects.

  • University degree, preferably in Architecture, Construction, Civil Engineering, Building Materials, Chemicals, or a related discipline, with 2–3 years of experience in the construction industry and established relationships with architects, specifiers, designers, and contractors.
  • Experience in the paint/coatings industry, with solid knowledge of technical terminology, proper application methods, and the ability to identify and resolve on-site paint-related issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence customers and collaborate effectively with sales teams.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and account management skills, capable of multi-tasking effectively across cross-functional teams while meeting deadlines.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with strong influencing capability.
  • Willingness and ability to travel nationwide as required.

1. Establish Business Relationships with Target Project Specifiers

  • Conduct frequent visits to architects, design & build (D&B) companies, designers, and applicators to provide professional service, relevant information, and technical support.
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer needs and propose appropriate value-driven solutions.
  • Build trust and credibility to secure customer confidence and project specifications through professional consultancy services.
  • Provide written and verbal recommendations, including product specifications, to stakeholders such as contractors, consultants, designers, and dealers.
  • Closely follow up on projects with specifiers to ensure products and solutions are specified.
  • Conduct joint presentations with the sales team to introduce solution offerings and competitive advantages versus market alternatives.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams to update and improve site delivery performance where required.
  • Working arrangement: 50% office-based and 50% site-based.

2. Project Consultancy & Technical Engagement

  • Perform consultancy services for specific projects, including mini workshops, technical training sessions, testimonials, and product demonstrations.
  • Organize product introduction workshops and seminars to influence and engage target specifiers.
  • Propose and manage appropriate sponsorship or engagement activities for specifiers who actively recommend the company’s solutions.
  • Provide accurate application methods, technical specifications, and drawings with a high level of technical expertise.

3. Protect Secured Specifications & Support Sales Conversion

  • Maintain strong relationships with architects, D&B companies, designers, and applicators.
  • Proactively approach projects at the right timing to deliver effective and competitive solutions.
  • Coordinate closely between Sales teams and specifiers to ensure secured specifications are converted into actual sales.
  • Continuously review product ranges, application methods, and technical drawings to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
  • Take personal ownership of assigned projects and activities to ensure high customer satisfaction.

4. Technical Consultancy & Solution Optimization

  • Conduct technical comparisons between internal solution systems and competitor offerings, highlighting unique selling points from an application and installation perspective to support sales discussions.
  • Provide direct technical advice to customers on solution-related queries.
  • Identify and propose optimal technical solutions for non-standard or complex requirements during the tendering phase.
