Adecco's client operates in the steel and industrial materials industry, supporting construction, manufacturing, and infrastructure projects across multiple markets. The Vietnam office plays a key role in contract coordination and commercial support for regional operations.

Location: Sai Gon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline or equivalent experience in construction office-based roles.
  • 2–3 years’ experience in project coordination, project administration, or technical support.
  • Experience with structural steel or related construction discipline.
  • Advanced English language proficiency (written and spoken).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and cloud-based project platforms.
  • Professional, reliable, and adaptable to different project demands.

Desirable

  • Experience with Australian or international clients.
  • Previous exposure to Workbench, BuildPass, or PowerFab or similar project management or production management systems.
  • Background in document control, compliance, or project finance.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Setup & Coordination

  • Lead the setup of new projects across internal platforms including Workbench, BuildPass, PowerFab, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ensure system alignment, naming conventions, and documentation structures are consistently applied.
  • Act as the first point of contact for system or document queries from the Australian project team.
  • Assist project leads in coordinating timelines, milestones, and reporting deadlines.

Documentation & Compliance Support

  • Prepare, format, and maintain project documentation such as: Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS); Project Management Plans (PMPs); Lift Studies, equipment checklists, and compliance forms
  • Manage version control, approvals, and digital accessibility.
  • Ensure project documentation is properly compiled and presented for client and compliance submissions.

Budget & Reporting Support

  • Set up and maintain project budgets in Workbench, with ongoing updates as required.
  • Record and track approved variations, scope changes, and related documentation.
  • Assist with monthly reporting, ensuring project data is accurate.

Internal Coordination & Communication

  • Maintain records and document registers across multiple systems.
  • Support cross-department collaboration (estimating, procurement, site teams).
  • Provide clear, timely communication with Australian project leads, escalating issues when needed.
  • Contribute to improving project administration processes within the offshore support team.
