Our client is a well-established, international manufacturing group operating in Vietnam, specializing in high-value-added packaging and printed solutions for global brand owners. The business serves multinational customers across diverse end markets and is recognized for strong technical capability, advanced manufacturing standards, and a long-term investment strategy in the region.

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing environments, with significant exposure to structured production systems.
  • Minimum 3–5 years in a Production Manager / Senior Production leadership role.
  • Strong technical and operational understanding of:
  • High-volume manufacturing processes
  • Production planning and execution
  • Process control and industrial engineering fundamentals
  • New line setup, scaling, and stabilization
  • Demonstrated success in driving productivity improvement, workforce optimization, and operational turnaround initiatives.

1. Production Leadership & Operational Control

  • Full responsibility for daily production operations, manpower deployment, and shift management.
  • Translate business and production plans into executable schedules, targets, and action plans.
  • Ensure consistent achievement of output, efficiency, yield, and service level objectives.
  • Build strong production governance, performance tracking, and structured reporting systems.

2. Safety, Quality & Compliance

  • Enforce all safety regulations, machine safety standards, and factory policies.
  • Ensure production processes strictly comply with quality systems, customer requirements, and internal procedures.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for safety incidents, quality deviations, and customer complaints.
  • Partner closely with Quality and Engineering to strengthen process control and risk prevention.

3. Productivity & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive continuous improvement programs across productivity, labor efficiency, scrap reduction, and changeover optimization.
  • Apply Lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and problem-solving methodologies to improve operational performance.
  • Lead structured improvement projects to optimize layout, workflow, cycle time, and resource utilization.

4. Cost, Waste & Performance Management

  • Own production KPIs including OEE, yield, scrap, rework, labor productivity, and unit cost.
  • Identify loss areas and lead initiatives to reduce waste, downtime, and non-value-added activities.
  • Control production-related expenses and support annual budgeting and cost-reduction programs.

5. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Sales to ensure stable production execution.
  • Support new product introduction, new line setup, and customer project execution from an operations perspective.
  • Provide technical and operational input to improve manufacturability and production scalability.

6. People Management & Capability Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors, line leaders, and frontline teams.
  • Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, discipline, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish training frameworks, skill matrices, succession planning, and performance review systems.
