COMPANY OVERVIEW

Our client is a specialized manufacturer of Unit Load Devices (ULDs) for the air cargo industry. Headquartered in the Netherlands, the company operates a modern manufacturing facility in Tay Ninh Province, Vietnam, serving global aviation and logistics markets.

- Report to: Senior Procurement & Logistics Specialist

- Working Time: Mon – Fri (7:30 AM – 4:30PM)

- Working Location: Factory A12, Lot A6-2, A7, A8, A17-1, A18, A19-2, Doc Road, Phu An Thanh Industrial Park, Ben Luc Commune, Tay Ninh, Vietnam

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant supply chain, logistics, business administration, financial or other related field.

Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar role related role with at least import and export logistics experience, including incoterms and common payment terms.

Languages

English B2 level or higher (verbal and written communication a must).

Chinese is a helpful, not a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Purchasing, Supplier & Cost Management

  • Creates and oversees purchase orders, making sure they are accurate and follow the rules.
  • Handles purchasing and negotiates prices with approved suppliers for goods and services.
  • Responsible for direct and indirect material suppliers.
  • Responsible for finding (inter)national suppliers, evaluating, selecting suppliers with the support of the Senior Officer.
  • Assists in preparing supplier (pre)evaluations and agreements with the Senior Procurement & Logistics Officer.
  • Analyses market trends to find supply opportunities and ways to save costs.
  • Tracks spending on project purchases to stay within budget limits.

2. Logistics, Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination

  • Monitors inventory levels and restocks as needed to avoid shortages or excess.
  • Handles end-to-end logistics for both importing of materials and exporting of end-products (including administration) and communicates with external parties like customers, assembly teams, and suppliers.
  • Facilitates clear communication among team members and the supply chain.
  • Streamlines processes between suppliers and the organization for quicker delivery.

3. Compliance & Pricing

  • Ensures procurement practices follow all applicable laws and organizational policies.
  • Keeps both internal and customer price lists for spare parts up to date (when applicable).
