Our client is a well-established FMCG manufacturing group with strong market leadership in Asia and an aggressive global expansion strategy. The business is known for its large-scale food manufacturing operations, standardized production systems, and continuous investment in technology, quality, and operational excellence.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Food, Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Industrial, or related disciplines).
  • 3+ years of experience in Process Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering within FMCG, food, or large-scale manufacturing.
  • Strong hands-on exposure to production lines, industrial equipment, and factory operations.
  • Proven involvement in technology transfer, factory setup, or expansion projects is a strong advantage.
  • Solid capability in problem-solving, process control, documentation, and technical training.
  • High adaptability and willingness to work initially in Vietnam, then take international assignment based on business needs.

1. Technology Standardization & Transfer

  • Master and standardize existing manufacturing technologies and best practices from the Vietnam hub factory.
  • Lead end-to-end technology transfer to overseas plants, ensuring full alignment with group manufacturing standards.
  • Translate proven factory processes into scalable, replicable operating models.

2. New Plant Setup & Ramp-up

  • Support line layout, equipment installation, commissioning, and start-up activities.
  • Lead process validation, trial runs, and ramp-up phases to stabilize output and performance.
  • Ensure consistent achievement of quality, yield, food safety, and efficiency targets.

3. Training & Capability Building

  • Train and coach local engineering and production teams on process operation and troubleshooting.
  • Develop structured training frameworks, SOPs, and on-the-job coaching plans.
  • Build long-term technical capability and manufacturing discipline at site level.

4. Process Control & Continuous Improvement

  • Establish and maintain SOPs, technical standards, and core process documentation.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for process issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across productivity, quality, cost, and operational efficiency.

5. Cross-functional Leadership

  • Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, R&D, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Act as the key technical interface between Vietnam and overseas factories.
  • Support management with technical input for equipment, process, and capacity planning decisions.
