NPI Engineer (Printing)

OVERVIEW

Our client is seeking an NPI Engineer to develop and optimize printing processes for new product introductions. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, production, and quality teams to ensure innovative products meet customer expectations, align with manufacturing capabilities, and uphold the highest quality standards. 

Working Time: Mon – Fri & 1 Sat per month

Working Location: Lot XN 25-1, Dai An Industrial Zone, Tu Minh Ward, Hai Phong City, Vietnam (Former Hai Duong Province) 

QUALIFICATIONS

❖ Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).

❖ Experience: 2–5 years’ experience in Process Engineering or NPI within manufacturing or printing industries.

❖ Skills

• Proficiency in English, Chinese language skills are a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving (quality tools), and project management skills. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, quality systems, and process control.
• Knowledge of CAD, AI, and Office software. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Product development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to develop new printing products or processes. Ensure the design meets customer requirements and aligns with manufacturing capabilities.
• Oversee NPI projects, ensuring timely delivery and smooth transition into mass production.
• Apply advanced technical expertise in printing technologies, materials, and equipment to enhance product performance and process reliability.
• Prototype Creation and Testing: Coordinate the development of prototypes and conduct testing to evaluate performance, quality, and feasibility. Analyze test data and provide recommendations for design improvements or modifications.
• Drive process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed documentation, including PFMEA, PCP, work instructions, and 8D report.
