We are looking for an experienced Group Tax Leader to be responsible for our client's tax strategy and tax planning.

Job Requirements:

·      Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Professional designations (e.g., ACCA, CPA, etc.) preferred

·      Minimum 8 to 10 years relevant Tax experience with the same level

·      In-depth knowledge of Tax standards

·      Experience in the Big corp, Big 4 is a plus

·      Experience with Oracle/SAP preferred

·      Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

·      Strong analytical ability to identify challenges, provide solutions, and resolve problems in a timely manner

·      Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in both Vietnamese and English

·      Highly organized, detail oriented, and ability to prioritize multiple demands in a fast paced, changing work environment, while consistently meeting deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

•        Tax strategy for Group, Tax Planning.

•        Tax risk management and assurance in ensuring Group’s operations optimally in compliance with Vietnam tax regulations and other tax jurisdictions that Group has investments on basis of corporation with tax advisors where Group has investments activities.

•        Managing relationships with external and internal stakeholders including Tax offices, Tax advisors, Business and other functions; SPA on tax lobbying efforts in accordance with Group’s policy and culture.

•        Designing, development, maintenance and implementation of tax policy for the Group and its subsidiaries to ensure appropriate governance, management, assurance and control of taxation within the Group to be aligned with Group’s strategy and governance.

•        Overseeing the tax structuring for Group and its subsidiaries to ensure they are tax optimized including coordination with external tax advisors on deal structuring, transfer pricing, intercompany transactions, foreign taxes and other related tax issues; highlighting potential tax issues, impacts and proposing mitigation plan on Group financing.

•        Ensuring tax compliances for Group’s and its subsidiaries’ operations on the basis of coordination with the tax staffs of the Group and its subsidiaries, implementing appropriate assurance and control measure across Group, allowing all major tax issues of Group and its subsidiaries’ material tax matters are kept up to date and handled in a timely manner.

•        Coordinating with tax staffs of the Group’s and subsidiaries’ to review information, provide information and responses to queries from tax departments on tax inspection; Supervising and assisting subsidiaries to protect their tax benefits and impose adverse taxation where the impose is non-compliance with the law.
