Adecco's client - a global electromechanical component manufacturer is on the outlook for a General Director (full P&L) to lead the full operations in Vietnam, owning complete P&L responsibility, operational excellence, and strategic growth. This role ensures world-class manufacturing performance, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, and alignment with global HQ standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 12+ years experience in manufacturing, including 5+ years in senior leadership with full P&L ownership.
- Strong background in electromechanical, electronics, or medical device manufacturing.
- Proven capability in operations management, continuous improvement, and scaling manufacturing performance.
- Strong understanding of compliance standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-cultural management skills.
- Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability.
- Lead overall business operations with full accountability for P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive growth, operational efficiency, and market competitiveness.
- Oversee manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, quality, and commercial activities to meet delivery, cost, and quality targets.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (ISO 13485, FDA, GMP) and corporate governance.
- Build and lead a high-performing leadership team; drive culture of safety, discipline, and continuous improvement.
- Strengthen customer relationships, manage key accounts, and support new business opportunities and technology transfers.
- Implement KPIs, lean initiatives, and operational best practices across the organization.
- Represent the company with authorities, partners, and stakeholders; ensure legal and ethical compliance.
- Work closely with headquarters on business strategy, reporting, and global alignment.
