Adecco's client - a global mechanical precision company is on the outlook for Engineering Manager role to lead and manage all technical and engineering activities to ensure high-precision manufacturing performance, product quality, and continuous improvement, aligned with European standards and customer requirements.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering
  • Minimum 10–15 years in precision mechanical manufacturing
  • At least 5 years in a technical leadership role
  • Experience in EU or multinational manufacturing environments preferred
  • Technical Expertise
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • CNC machining (turning, milling, multi-axis)
  • Metal cutting and tooling technologies
  • CAD/CAM programming
  • High-precision / tight tolerance machining
  • Strong people management and team development
  • Good financial and cost awareness
  • Ability to align technical decisions with business objectives

  • Technical & Engineering Leadership:
  • Lead the Technical/Engineering team to support precision machining operations (CNC turning, milling, tooling)
  • Provide technical direction to ensure high accuracy, quality, and productivity
  • Act as the key technical authority for manufacturing processes and problem-solving
  • Manufacturing & Process Optimization:
  • Drive process improvements, cycle time reduction, and cost optimization
  • Ensure efficient production planning, routing, and machining strategies
  • Improve yield, scrap reduction, and machining performance
  • Equipment & Tooling Management:
  • Oversee selection, investment, and commissioning of CNC machines and tooling systems
  • Ensure optimal performance, maintenance strategy, and technology upgrades
  • Project & New Product Introduction (NPI):
  • Evaluate RFQs and ensure technical feasibility and manufacturability
  • Lead new product development and industrialization projects
  • Coordinate with Sales, Quality, and Production to meet delivery and cost targets
  • Costing & Commercial Support:
  • Support cost estimation and quotation process
  • Ensure competitiveness while maintaining margin targets
  • Quality & Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with ISO, API, and customer-specific standards
  • Work closely with QA/QC to maintain high precision and quality standards
  • Team Leadership & Development:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers and technical specialists
  • Build capability in CNC programming, machining technologies, and process engineering
