JOB SUMMARY
A leading multinational corporation in the durable consumer products sector is seeking a highly strategic and exceptionally sharp Brand Manager to lead one of its core product lines. While the brand is currently well-positioned, the durable consumer market in Vietnam is evolving rapidly with increasing competition from new entrants.
This is a critical role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, possesses deep category understanding, and demonstrates strong intellectual agility. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding the brand’s current leadership while driving significant future growth. We are looking for a visionary professional who can anticipate market shifts, innovate continuously, and execute flawlessly to secure long-term success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies and marketing plans to achieve business objectives and maintain market competitiveness.
- Serve as the end-to-end product owner, engaging in the entire product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, while collaborating closely with Product, Insights, and Regional Teams.
- Conduct in-depth market research, competitive mapping, and consumer analysis to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Lead the development and rollout of integrated marketing communications (IMC) campaigns across all channels, ensuring cohesive and impactful brand presence.
- Manage the brand’s P&L, including budget planning, forecasting, and performance tracking against KPIs.
- Oversee go-to-market strategies and ensure brand consistency across all materials, representing the voice of the customer in key decision-making processes.
- Build strong partnerships with agencies, internal teams, and regional stakeholders to drive effective brand execution.
- Monitor brand health, market share, and consumer perception, implementing timely corrective actions when needed.
- Identify and capitalize on emerging consumer behaviors and market trends to drive continuous brand innovation.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, After-Sales Support, and Field Operations teams to ensure alignment and achievement of commercial targets.
- Mentor and develop junior marketing team members.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA from a reputable institution is strongly preferred.
- 5–10 years of progressive experience in brand management, with substantial exposure to senior or leadership responsibilities.
- In-depth knowledge of product lifecycles, distribution networks, and consumer decision journeys within the durable consumer sector.
- Proven experience managing and scaling leading brands in highly competitive or fast-changing markets.
- Exceptional strategic and analytical capabilities, with the ability to break down complex data, identify emerging trends, and design bold strategies that deliver measurable impact.
- Strong intellectual curiosity and problem-solving ability: challenges assumptions, seeks new approaches, and builds creative, data-driven solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Proficiency in both English and Vietnamese, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing sizable marketing budgets and P&L responsibilities.
- Experience working with premium or high-end brands in the durable consumer category.
- Familiarity with modern digital marketing platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot).
