Travel Physical Therapist

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently hiring a Travel Physical Therapist (Home Health) in Mountlake Terrace, WA.

This is an on-site, full-time contract position providing in-home therapy services across King County. Apply with a current resume for consideration.

Assignment Details:

Pay:  $55 to $59/hr
Location: Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043
Contract Duration: 05/18/2026 – 08/22/2026 (with possibility of extension)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Coverage Area:

• King County, WA

Mileage: Reimbursed between patient visits (not from home to first/last patient)

 

Job Summary:

The Travel Physical Therapist will provide skilled, patient-centered home health therapy services focused on evaluating mobility, endurance, pain, and functional limitations. This role involves developing individualized treatment plans, implementing therapeutic interventions, and supporting patients in achieving optimal independence within the home setting.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

·       Evaluate patient functional status, mobility, and therapy needs per CMS guidelines

·       Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with physicians

·       Provide evidence-based therapy to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function

·       Monitor, document, and report patient progress and changes in condition

·       Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and home exercise programs

·       Travel throughout King County to provide in-home patient care

·       Complete timely documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries

·       Participate in interdisciplinary care team meetings and collaborate with clinical staff

·       Supervise PTAs and home health aides as allowed by state regulations and agency policy

·       Provide supervision and oversight of PTA care per guidelines

·       Support staff education and participate in clinical meetings as needed

·       Ensure compliance with all state regulations, agency policies, and therapy standards

·       Maintain flexibility for patient care needs (no weekend or on-call requirement for this role)

 

Qualifications:

·       Active Physical Therapist license in Washington State

·       Current CPR certification required

·       Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation required

·       Ability to travel within assigned service area

Pay Details: $55.00 to $59.00 per hour
