Location: Onsite in Ann Arbor, MI

Hours: Mon-Fri  4:00pm - 12:30 am

Pay Rate: $26.25-$28.35/hour

We are looking for a full-time Technician to support the installation, preventative maintenance and repair of hardware and software in Ann Arbor, MI. Our technicians are responsible for becoming subject matter expert resources to team leaders, providing prompt service to diagnose and troubleshoot arising issues as well as execute a preventative maintenance schedule for multiple pieces of equipment.

Responsibilities:

●       Coordinating with a small team to prioritize and collaborate in solving technical issues

●       Setup and maintain computer equipment and perform planned preventative maintenance

●       Create, maintain, and execute scripts to automate routine activities

●       Diagnose and repair equipment failures and track using repair ticket system

●       Troubleshoot software issues and recommend solutions

●       Maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions

●       Other duties as assigned

 

Required Qualifications:

●       Some post high school training, degree in an IT or related field preferred, or 1-3 years of hands-on experience

●       A working knowledge of Linux and computer networks (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

●       Ability and willingness to consistently learn new processes and ideas

● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (occasionally)

 

Practical experience with one or more of the following is preferred:

●       Python Programming

●       BASH Scripting

●       SQL Querying

●       Technical Writing

●       Electronics

●       Photography

●       Digital conversion systems (scanners and/or photographic equipment) and operations

Pay Details: $26.25 to $28.35 per hour
