We have an immediate opportunity for a Customer-Focused Sr. Quality Engineer to lead our Certification and Releasing Teams

  • Supervise, grow, and develop the Certification & Releasing Teams and ensure that processes followed, managed, and improved as needed.
  • Perform as the Customer-Facing Quality Engineer responsible for:
    • Resolution of customer quality issues
    • Act as a quality liaison between and our customers
    • Monitoring and management of customer portals & scorecards
    • Implementation of customer-related quality improvement projects
  • Responsible for Outsourced Vendor Quality
    • Ensuring new & existing vendors meet quality requirements
    • Management of vendor corrective actions & improvements activities
  • Quality Engineering Improvement projects as assigned

Qualifications

A degree in engineering, industrial technology management or other relevant technical discipline is required.  Because of contractual requirements, this position requires US citizenship.  A minimum of five (5) years experience in quality or continuous improvement engineering in a manufacturing environment is preferred.  Experience with planning for quality control, auditing, and procedure writing are required. Knowledge of machining and/or metal casting processes and Lean / Six Sigma practices is strongly preferred.



Pay Details: $91,000.00 to $135,000.00 per year
