QC INSPECTORS NEEDED ASAP FOR AEROSPACE COMPANY IN PORTLAND, CT
Quality Inspector – Ensure Excellence in Every Detail!
Job Purpose: As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards by approving incoming materials, monitoring in-process production, and inspecting finished products. Your meticulous attention to detail will be instrumental in recording and upholding our quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Approval: Ensure in-process and finished products meet specifications through visual and measurement tests.
Compliance Verification: Work with purchase orders, special process certifications, operation sheets, blueprints, and other specifications to confirm full compliance of all parts and materials.
Dimensional Layout Inspection: Perform complex dimensional layout inspections according to operation sheets and blueprints.
Documentation: Complete Inspection Method Sheets and verify special process certifications align with part specifications.
First Article Inspection (FAI): Conduct 1st piece/FAI inspections, with knowledge of Inspection Xpert/Net-Inspect being a significant advantage.
Aerospace Inspector Skills/Qualifications:
Experience: 3+ years as a quality inspector in Aerospace, Medical, or similar industries.
Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in analyzing manufacturing methods and procedures, with an emphasis on GD&T.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills, paired with solid analytical and shop math abilities.
Software Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with layout experience being a plus.
Working Hours:
Weekly Hours: 40-45 hours per week
Shift: 4:30 PM - 1:00 AM
Full-Time, On-site
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary: $20-$26 per hour, based on experience.
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $1500 after successful completion of a 90-day introductory period.
