Program Coordinator – Empower Minority- and Woman-Owned Businesses in Charlotte

Are you driven to make a difference in your community? Do you have a knack for managing projects and building relationships that drive real impact? If so, we’re looking for a dedicated Program Coordinator to help grow and support minority- and woman-owned businesses in Charlotte!

Position Details

  • Schedule: Monday to Thursday, temp-to-perm opportunity

  • Pay: $20 per hour

  • Location: Remote flexibility after 90 days; must be available during Eastern U.S. business hours (9 am – 4 pm)

What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and Coordinate: Manage and coordinate educational and technical assistance programs tailored for minority- and woman-owned businesses, ensuring these vital initiatives run smoothly and make a lasting impact.

  • Build Partnerships: Work closely with external partners and internal team members to foster relationships that amplify program success and increase community engagement.

  • Measure Impact: Establish and track KPIs and analyze program metrics to assess and improve effectiveness, ensuring programs meet their goals and evolve based on data.

  • Provide Program Support: Assist with essential program administration, from scheduling interviews and tracking attendance to managing content on our LMS and supporting participants throughout their journey.

  • Adapt and Grow: Tackle additional program management responsibilities as needed to keep our initiatives dynamic and responsive.

What We’re Looking For: Ideal Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related experience.

  • People Skills: Exceptional interpersonal abilities to collaborate with clients, participants, and stakeholders.

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Attention to Detail: Superb prioritization, organization, and accuracy.

  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft 365, with familiarity in workflow tools (e.g., Asana, Monday, Trello) and virtual meeting tools (Microsoft Teams, Zoom).

  • Organized and Proactive: Experience using calendaring tools like Calendly or Outlook.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
